Bangladesh Art Week is the voice of Bangladesh's art industry. The purpose of this platform is creating a diverse artistic environment as well as promoting art appreciation worldwide. It is a contrary experience that provides a platform for emerging and established artists to showcase and sell their art work. Bangladesh art week offers unrivaled connection to the art world by uplifting the local art industry through interaction, guidance, and exposure.

“Shikor ROOTS”, a three month (August-October) long art programme, is initiated by Bangladesh Art Week as an annual event. It is an exclusive collaboration between artists, designers and local artisans of low-income rural families.
Artist Zahangir Alom Is schooling the children of the participating artisan families in Sirajganj with art education throughout the art project.
